Piano Exam
just before we get in to that part...............
NERVOUSi was woke up by my mother voice coming from downstairs. shouting that: "Vincent, wake up! have some practice before you go for the exam!" ok, then i woke up and had a look at the time its 7.30am. then i brush, comb, then i went downstairs and had some practice then had my breakfast, then continue practicing.

[practice before going]at 9.15am, we depart from home to Dynasty Hotel. i am starting to get a little nervous. but, hey i said to God, please help me! then when we reach there, i had to run down the car to the lobby, because it was staring to rain. had a few drop of water onto my face, i wipe it off and i am set to go upstairs to wait till my turn.
[Dynasty Hotel]on the 2nd floor, i found my teacher and the student before me to take the exam. he is waiting for his turn. he look nervous, i do too. haha.... then i sat down and wait. while waiting i read the newspaper that my teacher brought. (to calm myself down that is, did work a little but....) when it is my turn......

[looked at the time, it is 9.50am]
my time to have my exam is 10.03am, but it started a little late.

[and here i go]here, i march into the examination room, with the the officer at the reception. he gave me my marking sheet (for the examiner to record my mark) and he open the examination room. the 1st thing i saw was a tall, average body size, about 40plus years old white guy, standing in the room near the door. he said Good morning, and so i greet back. the he asked me would i like to started out with the pieces or scales. i said pieces, and so we started.
1st song,
went quite well, squeeze the note a little, cause am starting to feel nervous. at the end of the song. i end properly. and here it is a well done piece. i can hear my heart beat beating real fast!!!
2nd song,
started with beautiful touch, and the song went well until, the middle, i went lost, and had tangle my finger. there my mind went lost, and my hand started to shiver, my legs too. i tried to calm myself and continue with the next phrase, and skipped a few bars, because i was lost i don't know how to continue. then till the end there are some minors mistake, but i manage to finish the song with the last two cords played well.
3rd song,
after going through the 2nd songs' mistake, my hand and legs, cant stop shivering, but i have to continue. i had this last song well-prepaid, as it is my favorite song. started with nice swings and till the middle was still doing fine. till the second inversion, i mistaken to played the 2nd part of the 2nd inversion. which had me gone lost again. i grab hold of myself, and continue, but trough out till the end there are still some minors mistake made. at the end i end the song with the last note and its finished for the pieces section.
ok, i had just screw up my last two song! what an idiot am i!!!! i never though that i would be so nervous!!!

then its the scales part and the sight reading then the oral test. the nervous is still effecting me. i made quite many mistake in both scales and sight reading. but i can say that i did better then last year for scales and sight reading. after the end of the oral test, which is the last part of the exam, he said thank you, and so did i too. after saying good bye, i steped out of the examination room and feel the pressure getting out from my body, and my hands and leg stopped to shiver.
[screw up]when my piano teacher ask how was it?
i said, sorry i screw up the last two songs, but i did better for my scales and sight reading compare to last year. hopefully i can pass this exam, since it is a retest for me after i fail my grade 5 last year and i am taking the same exam again this year. so i have to pass it, i can not afford to fail it again!!!! i do hope i pass it.
