Memorial for Michael Jackson
MICHAEL JACKSON died after suffering cardiac arrest last night.
The king of pop collapsed at his Los Angeles home and one of his staff made an emergency call at 12.21pm local time.
Jackson was not breathing when paramedics from the LA Fire Department arrived. He had no pulse and the ambulance crew were unable to restart his heart.
The medics gave Jackson CPR in the ambulance in a bid to keep his blood flowing before taking him to nearby UCLAMedical Centre.

The race to the hospital took six minutes. Doctors tried to resuscitate Jackson when he arrived in the emergency room but there were no signs of life.
Los Angeles County coroner Fred Corall confirmed at 12.33am UK time that Jackson was dead.
